Day 1 · Arrival and hotel check-in
Travel independently to Changsha, meet the agreed pickup and check into your Changsha hotel. No rush to sightseeing today: rest and settle your luggage. Airport or station transfer coverage, meeting time and waiting rules will be specified when the plan is confirmed.
Day 2 · Sandstone peaks and valley-floor scenery
Take a high-speed train from Changsha to Zhangjiajie and enter the National Forest Park. Ride the Tianzi Mountain cable car up to see Imperial Brush Peak and the West Sea stone forest, then explore Mihun Terrace and the First Bridge Under Heaven in Yuanjiajie. Descend by Bailong Elevator and visit Shuirao Simen, where streams meet on the valley floor, before staying in Wulingyuan. The plan includes the Tianzi Mountain ascent and Bailong descent. Confirm reservations and the sightseeing order in advance.
Day 3 · Canyon activities and a stage show
Visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and walk across the Yuntiandu Glass Bridge for a different view of the canyon from above, then follow the visitor route into the valley. The plan includes five activities chosen from seven. Confirm what is operating and the participation restrictions in advance; bungee jumping and other unlisted activities are excluded. In the evening, watch Charming Xiangxi from a standard seat, discovering Xiangxi culture through music and stage stories, then return to your Wulingyuan hotel.
Day 4 · Mountain sightseeing and an evening in the old town
Travel from Wulingyuan to Tianmen Mountain to see Tianmen Cave and the summit trails within your reserved visit. Afterwards, take a high-speed train to Fenghuang and the agreed transfer to the old town. The plan includes the Fenghuang three-attraction ticket, with a night cruise on the Tuojiang River and visits to Shen Congwen's Former Residence and Wanshou Palace the following day. Confirm the end of the mountain visit, train, boat departure and transfers together, allowing enough time between them.
Day 5 · Old-town exploration and departure connections
Continue with Shen Congwen's Former Residence and Wanshou Palace, included in the Fenghuang three-attraction ticket, discovering old-town culture along the river and lanes while leaving time for a leisurely walk. Then take the confirmed high-speed train back to Changsha and check in. Meals, shopping and travel photography are your own optional purchases.
Day 6 · Free time and departure
Arrange free time in Changsha and the agreed departure transfer around your return schedule. Do not cut transfer time to add last-minute sights. Confirm your flight or train, drop-off point, luggage and meeting time in advance.

After Tianmen Mountain, take a high-speed train to Fenghuang and a transfer to the old town, then return to Changsha by high-speed train. Day 6 includes the agreed departure transfer. Confirm airport or station transfer coverage, service times and waiting rules in advance.
