Huangshi Village Loop and Golden Whip Stream

About this route

Huangshi Village offers distant panoramas, while Golden Whip Stream brings you beneath the pillars. Start with the designated Huangshi summit loop and viewpoints in the morning, then descend for an unhurried valley walk. Cableway-assisted sightseeing and climbing stairs on foot require different effort levels. There is no need to combine both uphill and downhill walking with the entire stream corridor in one visit.

Suggested sequence

1. Start from the South Gate and first check the Huangshi Village cableway and designated uphill trail.
2. Follow the open summit loop and choose viewpoints according to your fitness.
3. After descending, walk a chosen stretch of Golden Whip Stream and turn back in time for rest and your return.

Transport and safety

Confirm cableway and scenic-area admission inclusions separately. Mist affects distant views, and long downhill stair sections add strain on the knees. Do not rush to meet a fixed completion time.
