Day 1 · Arrival and hotel check-in
Check into your city hotel on arrival, then visit 72 Qilou in the evening if time allows, seeing its towers and lanes outlined in light. Evening admission is included in the plan; meals and personal expenses cost extra. If you arrive late, coordinate the visit in advance. Seeing every performance is not guaranteed.
Day 2 · Sandstone-peak views
Enter the Forest Park through the east gate and take a park shuttle to the Tianzi Mountain cable car station. Ride up to see Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Offering Flowers and the West Sea stone forest, then follow the Yuanjiajie trails for closer views of the pillars around Mihun Terrace and the First Bridge Under Heaven. Descend by Bailong Elevator and explore Ten-Mile Gallery on foot or by sightseeing train. The cable car, elevator and train cost extra; the order is confirmed around reservations and operating conditions.
Day 3 · Lake and stream valley
Visit Baofeng Lake with the confirmed ticket and boat departure to enjoy the water surrounded by peaks. Then enter Golden Whip Stream through the Forest Park's south gate. Follow a shaded section beside the stream, listening to the water and looking up at the cliffs, then retrace your steps to the Great Oxygen Bar Square according to your fitness. This day does not cover the entire valley. Confirm cruise and transfer inclusions in advance.
Day 4 · Mountain scenery and departure
Travel from Wulingyuan to Zhangjiajie city for your reserved visit to Tianmen Mountain, taking in the contrast between Tianmen Cave and the summit trails. Choose exposed sections according to your fitness and what is open. Confirm ascent and descent arrangements and extra charges in advance. After sightseeing, take the agreed departure transfer, allowing enough time for your flight or train.
