2. 02

   Day 2 · Family nature observation

   Turn a stream-valley walk into a nature lesson

   Choose a short section of Golden Whip Stream to observe rock formations from the valley, flowing water, rock layers and woodland plants rather than covering every sight. A geopark museum visit may complement the theme, with age-appropriate guiding arranged separately. Do not collect rocks or fossils or feed animals. Wildlife sightings are not promised.

   Day 3 · Valley views

   A shorter scenic outing, with the afternoon for rest

   Consider Ten-mile Gallery, identifying formations such as the Herb-gathering Elder and Three Sisters Peaks from the valley and hearing the folk stories behind their names. The sightseeing train can reduce walking, but station access, boarding and tickets still need confirmation. If unsuitable for your group, keep the day for rest instead.

   Day 4 · Culture and unhurried time

   Make time for local culture

   We can discuss Charming Xiangxi or Romance of Zhangjiajie, choosing one according to your interests rather than assuming both. First check children's ages, tolerance for sound and lighting, show times and return arrangements. Keep free time if you prefer not to see a show. Tickets are not included by default.

A gentler itinerary does not mean every section is step-free or wheelchair-accessible. Tell us your walking limit, concerns about steps and children's ages so each section can be checked.

Food, rooms and daily routines
