What if a place's name, address or business information changes?
Document changes and evidence rather than adding duplicate places instead of corrections.
Record the place's full name, page URL, fields needing correction and verifiable evidence. Former names can help locate it, but the same venue should not be added repeatedly as different places.
Businesses cannot currently claim or edit places through self-service tools, and correction submissions are not yet open. Public reviews are not administrative edit requests; adding a place does not grant permission to edit existing information.
